Mai Bhagi was Born in Deplo Therparker Sindh in 1920, She was a Sindhi Lok Geet singer. Her birth name was Bhageri. Her mother Khadeja, who was also a singer, married Hothi Faqeer when she was 16 years old in Islam Kot Sindh. Her father was Wanhiyal Faqeer.
In 1950, Mai Bhagi was moved to Mithi Therparker. Producer Shaikh Ghulam Hussain presented her on Radio Pakistan Hyderabad, and producer Abdul Karim Baloch debuted her on Pakistan Television. She began singing on Radio Pakistan in 1960.
